Aimed at ST3 and above, this unique week long course covering all the major areas of Maxillofacial surgery. With the emphasis of the week very much on hands on practical teaching

Upon application all delegates will be asked to provide a short CV and copy of their summary log book page (UK applicants only). To help ensure those attending receive the most from the course.

Day 1
Nasendoscopy
Tracheostomy
Neck dissection
Introduction to microvascular surgery
Radial forearm free flap

Day 2
Pectorlis major flap
Medial sural artery perforator
Anterolateral thigh flap

Day 3
Fibula free flap
Anatomical approchaes for rhinoplasty
Mandibular osteotomy & genioplasty 

Maxillary osteotomy

Day 4
Coronal approach, frontal bone and sinus fractures

Craniofacial implants: planning & placement
Paratoid gland and facial nerve dissection
Approaches for orbital fractures

Day 5
Surgical techniques in cleft surgery
Harvesting of bone grafts, calvarium, rib and iliac crest
